This website offers information about former track & field athletes from Hoover High School. They include Ashley Muffet Duncan, Allison Peare, and Madeline Morrow.
- Ashley Muffet Duncan attended Hoover High School from 2001-2005, during which time she was 3x state champion in the shot put. She then went on to be a 4x All-American at the University of Kentucky, where she set the school shot put record.
- Allison Peare attended Hoover from 2006-2010 and was the school record holder in the 800m, 4x800, 4x1600, and distance medley relay. She went on become a first-team All-American and school record holder in the DMR at Kentucky.
- Madeline Morrow attended Hoover from 2008-2012 and set the school, county, and indoor state record in the high jump. She was selected to represent the USA in the 2012 IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain, and currently competes for Duke University.
